The Jewish Vote in 2012 - Ohio
- Ohio's Jewish community supported Senator Sherrod Brown over State Treasurer Josh Mandel. Brown won Jewish votes by a margin of 71% to 28%.
- Jewish voters said they trusted Sherrod Brown more on issues that matter most to them. Brown was favored on the economy and jobs (66% to 27%), social insurance programs (66% to 23%), Israel policy (52% to 29%) and dealing with Iran (54% to 27%.)
- Jewish voters based their votes on the economy. The economy was ranked as one of two top voting priorities by 60 percent, while Israel was cited by only 9% as a top two concern.
